Summary
In this section it talks about James Lynch who helped find evidence in 1996 of Fawcett's missing party. Also how James Lynch was abducted by Indians along with his 16 year old son and ten other explorers. They escaped and returned to Sao Paulo. The Indians would speak broken Portuguese and it was translated for James Lynch and his group. They debated for two days about getting released. It talks about how they would hear the translator say something about tying them up over the river and let the piranhas get them or cover them in honey and let the bees sting them to death. It goes on to talk about how James Lynch said that Fawcett's disappearance was impossible to figure out and it might never be solved.

Reaction
When I read this I was shocked at what the Indians were going to do to James Lynch, his son and the ten other explorers in his party. I was surprised that the Indians would do such things to their victims and that they would tourer them like that. To me that was a very harsh punishment.
