Summary
In this section of the book it talks about the thousand mile journey to Brazil on February 11, 1925. It talks about the headlines in the paper saying stuff about Fawcett and the two other men that went on the adventure to Brazil. It talks about Raleigh and how he kind of felt down on the trip. Also how on the way to New York he fell in love with a British Duke's daughter. It was getting threateningly serious, their aquantiance. He said this in a letter to Brian Fawcett.

Reaction
I don't thing that they sould have called them wild savages because the way they live is different them the way that we live. I think that they judged them as soon as they saw them. Just because they were naked and living in a fashion that we are not used to doesn't give them the right to call them savages. They probably knew how to use the land better then Fawcett and his men. They probably were better at hunting and finding their way around. So I do not think that they had the right to call them Wild or savages.
